Billard Barbell Standard Weight Plates

Billard Barbell competed with York Barbell and others through the 1960s for prominence on the East Coast market. They operated out of Reading, Pennsylvania, and they produced both Olympic and standard plates. Their weights were sold mainly in department stores, and 1959 Mr. Universe Bruce Randall was their spokesman for a period of time. He even did demonstrations with their weights!

Although they’ve been out of business since the early 1990’s, they’re weight plates can commonly be found on the used market. The guide below will help you to identify their standard 1” plates.
