York Olympic 50, 75, & 100 lb Weight Plates (Bored Out)

York bored out standard 1” 50, 75, and 100 pound weight plates to 2” Olympic size center hole by special order. The 75s in this video are stamped USA indicating they were made in the 1990s.

The hundreds are not stamped USA indicating they were made in the 1960s-1980s. The red paint is not original. They were painted black like the other York standard plates. They are double sided and identical to York standard plates since they literally began their life as one!

One other fascinating detail is that York would also mill the hub of 100 pound pound bored out plates by special request.
